Brazil Bed & Breakfast in the city

This is the site you've been waiting for!  We're not a hotel or an inn, but something more down-to-earth and cozy at the same time, located in the nicest areas of Salvador, Bahia. Brazil Bed and Breakfast provides an intimate atmosphere where you can enjoy the fascinating Brazilian culture as well as the wonders of nature.  We have two locations in Brazil.

If your preference is colonial architecture, nightlife, shopping for handcrafts, and people watching, you can stay at our Rio Vermelho B&B, two blocks from a city beach and a short bus or taxi ride from the Old City.  If you choose this location, an air-conditioned airport bus will leave you at your front door.

We also offer therapeutic massage given by certified professionals. Our Oxumaré Dance Company offers Afro-Brazilian dance classes, workshops, and performances in and outside of Brazil.  We can also arrange for guides and local transportation.

For information about staying during Carnival (Brazilian Mardi Gras), contact us soon at oxumarebrazil@yahoo.com.  Carnival in Rio is fun to watch, but if you want to really experience carnival, you need to go to Salvador, Bahia, where you have the opportunity to dance in the  streets along with the performers.  It's a great way to meet fun people!
